The inner gel pockets remain flexible even in freezing conditions, while the nylon lining prevents the skin from coming into direct contact with the ice. The neoprene exterior provides durability and effectively insulates the gel pockets to keep the wrap cold for longer. The Velcro fastening around the leg and at the back allows for adjustment as needed and makes for quick application.
Instructions: place the entire wrap in the freezer until the gel packs are properly frozen. Moisten the leg and the wrap before applying to maximise the cold therapy. Leave it on for 20 minutes (the recommended time) and apply it only under direct supervision of the horse.
