The anatomical bit Sweet Iron from Waldhausen stands out because of its mouthpiece that suits all horses. The Sweet Iron series is made from blued steel: it starts to oxidise upon contact with moisture (air), creating a lovely brown-grey rust on the surface. This stimulates the horses' salivation. They start to foam more, which increases their acceptance of the bit.
