It is easy to put on, strapless for safety, and is made of four-way stretch Lycra for comfort. It fits snugly to the horse's body, preventing insects and flies from getting under the mask and causing irritation.

Sensory areas such as the eyes and ears are protected by a flexible, durable mesh, designed with a degree of stability that helps it move away from the face so as not to cause irritation.
