Niagara is the new hanging filter fromAmtra Technik. The extremely quiet pump draws water from the aquarium into the external pump and then pumps it through the biological filter. Mechanical and chemical filtering is provided by the carbon filter/cartridge, while biological filtering is provided by the black sponge. The clean water then returns to the aquarium via a wier, oxygenating the water in the most optimal way possible. Internal cartridges are easy to replace. Thanks to a well thought-out and unique turbine design, Niagara is able to restart automatically after the power supply has been cut off for maintenance. To increase biological capacity, the black sponge can be replaced by the glaX stone or glaX mini ring. For freshwater and marine aquariums.
