Never use solvents, alcohol, or abrasive products - they can damage the outer materials.

Washing the inner liner Remove the liner and wash it in the machine at 30°C on a delicate cycle. Air dry only. Do not use a tumble dryer - the heat deforms the foam.

Storage Keep your helmet in its protective cover, away from heat, direct sunlight, and moisture. Avoid placing heavy objects on top of it.

Recommended lifespan Replace your helmet every 5 years at the most, even without a fall. Materials degrade over time, with perspiration and UV exposure.

After a fall After a fall, even with no visible damage, we recommend replacing your helmet. Invisible micro-cracks can alter the structure, and the EPS cannot be replaced without a new complete certification. How to measure my helmet size?

Measure your head circumference with a soft measuring tape, above the eyebrows and ears, at the widest point. Repeat 2-3 times and note the maximum value. The size in cm = the size GPA (e.g., 57 cm → size 57). If you are in between sizes, take the larger size.

Can I wash the whole helmet in the machine?

No. Only the removable inner liner can be washed in the machine at 30°C on a delicate cycle. The shell should only be wiped with a damp cloth. Water and heat can damage the materials and compromise protection.

Is this helmet certified for FFE competition?

Yes. All GPA helmets are CE EN1384 certified, a standard recognized by the FFE and FEI organizations. Check the specific requirements of your discipline - some events impose additional standards.
