Cleaning the shell Wipe the outside with a slightly damp cloth and mild soap. Never use solvents, alcohol, or abrasive products - they damage the materials of the shell.

Washing the inner liner Remove the liner and wash it in the machine at 30°C, delicate cycle. Air dry only. Do not use a tumble dryer - heat deforms the foam.

Storage Keep your helmet in its protective cover, away from heat, direct sunlight, and humidity. Avoid placing heavy objects on top.

Recommended lifespan Replace your helmet every 5 years maximum, even without a fall. Materials degrade over time, from sweat and UV exposure.

After a fall After a fall, even without visible damage, we recommend replacing your helmet. Invisible micro-cracks can compromise the structure, and the EPS cannot be replaced without a new complete approval.
How to measure my helmet size?

Measure your head circumference with a flexible tape measure, above the eyebrows and ears, at the widest point. Repeat 2-3 times and note the maximum value. Size in cm = size GPA (e.g., 57 cm → size 57). If you're between sizes, take the larger size.

Can I wash the entire helmet in the machine?

No. Only the removable inner liner can be washed in the machine at 30°C, delicate cycle. The shell should only be wiped with a damp cloth. Water and heat damage materials and compromise protection.

Is this helmet approved for FFE competition?

Yes. All GPA helmets are CE EN1384 certified, a standard recognised by the FFE and FEI organisations. Check the specific requirements of your discipline - some competitions require additional standards.
