Jump'In German leather reins

The One German reins in rope and leather Jump'In are made half from flat leather and half from nylon rope, allowing the reins to slide better through the rings of the bit. At the ends, there are two snap hooks that attach the German reins to the girth. They can be opened using a buckle.

This training aid, widely used by show jumpers, determines the degree of elevation of the horse's neck. Never as tight as traditional snaffle reins, they only tighten if the horse excessively raises its neck and goes above the rider's hand. Proper use of German reins helps to maintain an open angle of the head and neck; they do not allow a horse to be on the hand in any way.
