The olive snaffle is a soft mouthpiece which, thanks to its fixed rings, prevents the corners of the mouth from being pinched. The single snaffle bit acts directly on the mouth, slightly lifting it. This bit is ideal for many horses whose mouths need to be spared: young horses, training. The 2 ring double snaffle bit bends at the two breaks on the canon. This bit is more relaxing than a single crimp. It's also a good choice for horses with small mouths, as it avoids the point effect in the palate. Last but not least, precision is enhanced by using a bit of this type, since the two sides are more separated than with a straight canon or simple curl bit. On the other hand, since there is a double curvature, the bit bends backwards much more easily.
